I had the opportunity of attending the fabulous first day of Cape Town Fashion Week in order to support my extremely talented friend, Pietrie Morton, who made the top 20 selection of young graduate designers.
I was BURSTING with pride and excitement as I saw her designs coming down the runway. They were bold, colourful, cute and just exuded everything "Pietrie"!
It was fantastic to see how many supporters came out to see her! Congratulations, my friend, on a job well done :)
There were also many brilliant young designers with their own styles. Some dreamy and romantic with pastels and lace, and some punk rocker-ish with lots of black and leather. All in all, I think the designers are definitely going to take the future of fashion to another level.

Only donwfall and regret of the day was forgetting my camera at home! Grrrr!
